Imagine that you just helped your professional basketball team win its first ever game in its new home. Now, imagine as you drive home after hearing all the applause that you run out of gas. Sort of a Debbie Downer, huh?

That's what happened to the Brooklyn Nets' Andray Blatche last night after the team's 107-100 win over the Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center. He was on his way home from the game when he ran out of gas on a New Jersey highway. Blatche took to Twitter for aid, but was only met with hilariously unhelpful responses that ranged from “u in a rolls royce arent u? damnnn” to “nowhere in ny or nj." Wizards' Chris Singleton, being the good Samaritan that he is, suggested Blatche go to Taco Bell for gas (see the thumbnail for the tweet).

Blatche did defend himself by saying Hurricane Sandy messed up gas flow in the tri-state area, which is true. But then again, shouldn't he have prepared for the scenario if he knew about the problems. Blatche is going to have to take the L for this one.
