It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while the universe sees what people are doing and let's them get on with it. That's what happened last night at the Los Angeles Angels game honoring the late pitcher Tyler Skaggs. The Angels pulled off a no-hitter while wearing Skaggs’ no. 45 jersey in tribute.

After beating Seattle 13-0, the team went out to the mound and took off their ceremonial Skaggs jerseys, covering the pitcher's mound with them in a tribute.

Sports reporter Darren Rovell found a few coincidences about the game and shared them on Twitter. For one, the no-hitter came just hours before what would have been Skaggs 28th birthday. He also noted that they scored seven runs in the first inning and 13 runs total, mirroring Skaggs birth date.

Skaggs passed away earlier this month while the team was traveling for a game in Texas. Their game against the Rangers was canceled after the young pitcher was found dead in the team's hotel.
