These inanimate objects aren't trying to see Russell Westbrook succeed. Westbrook is just another superstar trying to will his team into the playoffs. Rims don't give too much of a shit, though.
Or maybe they just don't give a shit about Westbrook. He was about to embarrass the Timberwolves' Gorgui Dieng with a dunk when the rim just said, "No." Westbrook had a hole in this face a while ago and it still couldn't cut him some slack. Why won't you let the MVP candidate be great, rim?
It's not like Westbrook was completely held back. He had another triple-double with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.
