Dior x Air Jordan, Prada x Adidas, and now you can add Maison Margiela to the latest list of fashion houses collaborating with sneaker brands. But this collaboration wasn't as tame as the aforementioned projects from Dior and Prada.

The result is every bit as obstrusive as it sounds on paper, but the social media reactions aren't as one-sided as one might expect. The shoes—which will drop in six colorways in both high heel and sneaker variations—garnered a mixed reaction on Twitter.
