Philadelphia-based sneaker boutique Lapstone and Hammer is doing its raffle for this weekend's highly-anticipated Nike Air Fear of God 1 release a little bit differently. Rather than simply have customers enter a traditional drawing, the shop is asking everyone to help rasie money for the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.
The Philly retailer has set up a page on Fundly. Anyone trying to score a pair of Jerry Lorenzo's original performance model will have the option to donate an amount of their choosing from $2 to $100. The goal is to raise $10,000 by Monday, Dec. 17 with 100-percent of the proceeds being donated to the aforementioned charity to support local youth in Philadelphia. At the time of writing this post, the effort has already raised almost $4,000 in roughly an hour.
Lucky winners will be chosen at random on Monday, Dec. 17 to purchase a pair of the "Black" Nike Air Fear of God 1 in the size of their choosing (men's 8-13). Retail is set at $350. Anyone looking to enter Lapstone and Hammer's fundraiser can do so here.
Not a Philly local? No worries. The winners will be shipped their pairs no matter the location.
