Popular sneaker reselling app Goat has launched its latest program—"Goat Clean." It delivers a new collection of professionally cleaned and authenticated listings of some of today's most popular sneakers at lesser prices than their deadstock counterparts.

"Goat Clean" is currently in its beta stage, but the marketplace is available now for customers to shop and save 20 to 50-percent off on some of their grails. Among the vast array of initial selections is coveted pairs like the "Turtle Dove" Yeezy Boost 350, "Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1, and UNDFTD x Nike Air Max 97 to name a few. Following the initial beta, sellers will also be permitted to list their used pairs on the platform as well.

The goal of "Goat Clean" is to break the stigma of used shoes. Each pair is authenticated by specialists and undergoes a thorough cleaning process that includes scrubbing, washing laces, removing lint from the sock liner, and smoothing out any existing creases on leather. Each shoe listed will also be given a grading system to best describe the overall condition of the refurbished pair to the potential buyer. If a customer is unhappy with the pair they receive, it can be returned for credit that can be used on the Goat app.

"Buying used sneakers online is usually a gamble because shoppers are forced to trust that what they’re buying is authentic and in as good a condition as advertised, which all too often isn’t the case," said CEO and co-founder of Goat Eddy Lu. "With Goat Clean’s sneaker grading system, authentication, and professional cleaning, we’re bringing trust and transparency to the used sneaker market in the same way we did for new shoes with our authentication and ship-to-verify model."

The initial "Goat Clean" collection can be shopped here.
