For Converse's latest collaboration, the brand has joined forces with Los Angeles-based streetwear brand BornxRaised to create two pairs of the Jack Purcell.
Dubbed the "On The Turf" pack, this collection uses the Jack Purcell as the canvas which ties to BornxRaised co-founder Spanto's personal connection to the silhouette while growing up in Venice, California, which he favored as an alternative to the Chuck Taylor. It comes in both black and camel colorways which feature pony hair uppers designed to resemble a fresh buzz cut. BornxRaised branding is seen on the rubber heel in white, and "On The Turf" is seen stitched in white on the tongue as well.
The BornxRaised x Converse Jack Purcell "On The Turf" pack will be launched with a special pop-up on the Venice Boardwalk at 1313 Oceanfront Walk that opens on Feb. 2. The global launch will take place on Feb. 3 at converse.com and other select retailers.
