It's been mostly crickets for the Nike Hyperposite 2 this year, as the follow-up shoe to one of Nike's most successful basketball models from last year has mostly been forgotten. Serving as the unofficial signature shoe for Anthony Davis, the Nike Hyperposite was built like a tank, and performed like a beast, which led to many questions about what happened to the sequel.
Good news surfaces today on that front, as the Nike Hyperposite 2 is now available at select retailers overseas, which in turn could mean a stateside release in the very near future. Making improvements from last year, Nike took out much of the Hyperposite material to cut weight, which also helped it in the aesthetics department. Nike also replaced the 360 Max Air unit with the higher grade 360 Max Zoom unit, which is making it's first debut since the KD 6.
For those who can't wait for a stateside release, hit up Kicks-Crew to cop your pair. For those of you with a little more patience, hold out just a little bit longer, as all signs are pointing to a US release in the very near future.
