It goes without saying that Under Armour will at some point be issuing a "73-9" sneaker commemorating Steph Curry's efforts in the record-breaking season the Golden State Warriors just had. They've been beat to the bunch though by sneaker boutique Bait, which is updating an old shoe with a nod to the record.
The "Splash City" Asics Gel Lyte V from 2015, a reference to the squad that comes dipped in its colors, is back with special lasering at the heel that calls out the record.
It's unfair to really say the shoe is a celebration of the record since this is an update to an already existing pair, but Bait still deserves a nod for quickly releasing a project capturing the moment.
