#SoleWatch: Kevin Durant's "Black Lives Matter" Nike KD 6

Kevin Durant uses his sneakers to send a message about recent police violence.

Kevin Durant took a sharpie to his sneakers last night, writing "Black Lives Matter" on the KD 6 that he wore.

The slogan has been used during recent protests over police violence in the U.S. Other NBA players have been showing solidarity with the wear of the "I Can't Breathe" shirts that quote the last words of Eric Garner, but this is the first time that we've seen someone in the league take to their shoes to address the issue. Durant also references the Bible verse Ephesians 3:20 on his sneakers, which reads "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
