The Patta x Asics Gel Respector that leaked back in December, 2015, is almost ready for its retail release.
Today, the Dutch sneaker store posted its official images of the shoes and word that it will release them on Feb. 27 in store for €150. While that's not incredibly helpful for readers unwilling to head to Amsterdam for this release, the store promises a wider release at global Asics retailers to come.
The colorful orange/blue shoe is inspired by "rich, colourful anime films and characters such as tropical fish and mythological creatures."
The partnership between Patta and Asics is a longstanding one, their first collab coming in 2007 on the Gel Lyte III.
UPDATE 3/10: After releasing exclusively at Patta in February, the Asics x Gel Respector is releasing this Saturday, March 12, at select Asics retailers worldwide.
