After the Consortium series returned with the "Tabula Rasa" Collection last fall, adidas Originals brings the range into its second season with a limited edition Munchen, handmade at the adidas factory in Scheinfeld, Germany.
Originally released in the 70s, the Munchen's groundbreaking PU outsole made it one of the lightest training shoes of its time. This year's limited re-issue features a luxurious royal blue suede and white leather build. Staying true to form, each pair will be packaged in a 1:1 reissue of the original box.
The Consortium Munchen will be released on February 18, 2012 in a run of 500 pairs. Retail will be $230.
