Apex predator vibes inform the design process of the latest ASICSTIGER & Sneaker Freaker collaboration, the GEL-LYTE III Tiger Snake.
Both Tigers and Snakes are heralded as some of the worlds most proficient predators, utilsing the environment and their natural camouflage to great success. This joint success informs the design of Sneaker Freaker and ASICSTIGER's new collaboration, built on the iconic GEL-LYTE III.
The silhouette features a base of buttery beige cowhide, with a heavy black contrast hitting the heel that allows the gold foil branding to peacock. Framing is completed by the blacked out midsole that is elevated with pink speckles, a soft toned colouring that extends to the outsole and laces. Wrapping up the aesthetic is a custom box decorated with illustrations from New York-based artist, Alexander Heir.
