Stephen Curry Will Switch Up Sneakers Between the Three-Point Contest and All-Star Game

Stephen Curry will debut this Under Armour Curry 2 low colorway during the NBA Three-Point Contest.

We already got a look at the sneakers that Stephen Curry will wear during this weekend's NBA All-Star Game, and now it looks like he'll switch it up to another pair when he participates in the three-point contest. According to Darren Rovell, Curry will debut the "Energy" low while putting his legendary three point shooting range on display.

Besides the colorway, the next major difference between these and the sneakers he'll wear in the game is the ankle height. Curry struggled with ankle injuries early in his career, so we wouldn't expect him to wear low-tops when crossing opponents up all over the court. Another interesting detail about this colorway is how tame it is compared to the usual All-Star Weekend sneakers we're used to seeing, but they do go well with the West's red uniforms.

These sneakers will release on Feb. 13.
