One of the most unexpected retros of 2015 has been the Nike Sock Dart, and its positive reception has been largely thanks to the silhouette's collaborations with Fragment Design. Up to this point, the Sock Dart has only been released in a handful of colorways, and each version has had a monochrome upper. The other week, an image hit the Internet of a camo-print Sock Dart, and it had a lot of people speculating whether this was a real sneaker or not. Thanks to the man behind Fragment, Hiroshi Fujiwara, it's now confimed that this military-inspired Sock Dart is indeed fake.

In an Instagram post, Fujiwara said, "Never seen this. Never wear this, never made this, never like this!" And as one of the comments said, "I guess that settles it."

Everyone who was looking to mix up their Sock Dart rotations with a pattern, they're out of luck. For those who don't mind wearing bootleg trainers, here's the link to the certified fakes.
