We reported earlier that the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly “Dark Obsidian” was likely to be HTM, but also remarked that Nike hadn’t been treating this release like previous HTM releases. With the official unveiling of the sneaker on nikelab's Instagram this evening, it seems that previous reports that this shoe was an HTM have proven to be false.
The official unveiling comes with no mention of this being an HTM project, and further, no HTM branding anywhere on the shoe.
The official release date is February 15, to be released at Nikelab retailers in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Shanghai, and Hong Kong as well as online at nike.com/nikelab.
