Ahead of the release of his new comic book film Morbius, Jared Leto sat down for an interview with ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast, where he teased a potential sequel to the forthcoming Sony movie.

When asked which of the three Spider-Man actors he’d like to see Morbius go up against, Leto admitted that he’s down to challenge all three Peter Parkers.

“Well, I’ll tell you what, I’ll take ‘em all my friend, I’ll take ‘em all,” Leto revealed. “I’m not scared. I’m not scared, but I have to say, there’s something about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Morbius being a new chapter in the universe that seems quite fitting. And I would love to see them get in the ring with one another, these two characters.”

Leto added, “And I think Tom’s just, like, you know, done a phenomenal job. And he’s a great actor and he just brings a lot of energy and humor to the role that’s great.”

Hitting theaters next Friday, Morbius stars Leto alongside Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.

Earlier this month, Leto spoke with Variety about his superhero debut, claiming that if not for comic book flicks theaters would be a thing of the past.

“If it wasn’t for Marvel films, I don’t even know if theaters would exist,” Leto told the outlet for its latest cover story. “It doesn’t seem like there’s room for everyone, and that starts to become a little heartbreaking.”

“I also have gratitude for these movies because they’re keeping cinema alive,” he added.
