"This world is beyond cruelty."
These words open the new trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which is slated to hit theaters this November.
The new trailer not only gives us a deeper look at what to expect with Timothée Chalamet’s Paul this time around, but also what to look out for with Zendaya’s character Chani, a Fremen.
Chalamet and Zendaya are joined in the cast by Rebecca Ferguson (who is soon set to be seen in the next Mission: Impossible and can currently be seen in Silo on Apple TV+), Josh Brolin (who will soon be seen in the second season of Outer Range), Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and more.
Based on the classic novel by Frank Herbert, Dune: Part Two promises to build on the undeniably impressive visual and emotional feats of its predecessor, which notably bagged six Academy Awards. Shooting for Part Two took place in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, and Italy.
See the new trailer up top. Dune: Part Two debuts on Nov. 3. Speaking at this year’s CinemaCon event in Vegas, Villeneuve described the film as an “action-packed, epic war movie.”
