Now that the generally not very great reviews for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have really started to sink in, moviegoers have waited impatiently for the true authority on finer cinema to offer his thoughts. That voice, of course, belongs to Tracy Morgan. Morgan stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday to give a few thoughts on Batman v Superman, ultimately taking issue with its take on the Caped Crusader.

"I'm a Superman dude," Morgan admitted to Seth Meyers, who specifically requested the storied comedian's thoughts due to his penchant for staying ahead of the trends. According to Morgan, Batman never stood a chance. "Batman ain't got no wins," Morgan said, clearly disappointed. "All he's got is a belt." True enough, Tracy Morgan.

By Morgan's interpretation, the shortcomings of Batman v Superman all came down to the source of Bruce Wayne's anger. "The first Batman, he was angry because criminals had killed his dad," Morgan explained to the audience. Ben Affleck's take on Batman, according to Morgan, is simply upset because he "messed up with Jennifer Garner."

Why, exactly, is it so damn hard to really nail the essence of Batman in film? For that, we must consult Christian Bale: "I didn't quite manage what I hoped I would through the trilogy," Bale revealed in an interview with Yahoo Moviesearlier this month. "Chris [Nolan] did, but my own sense of self is like, 'I didn't quite nail it.'" Thanks for the advice, Christian Bale.
