Police in New York City arrested an intoxicated man who reportedly slapped a police horse on the ass in Times Square earlier this week. The bag of coke in pocket didn't help the situation, either.

According to the New York Post, 32-year-old Bronx resident Victor Flores spanked the horse around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. NBC New York reports that this unexpected action caused the horse to "[lurch] forward, putting the officer and a nearby crowd in danger."

Irritated police officers engaged Flores, ultimately finding the drugs on him during a search. The Post adds that he offered a half-assed explanation for the absurd display:

I don’t get it, tourists pet the horses all the time. I don’t get why I am in trouble for this. I was just saying hello.

He currently faces charges for disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a narcotic, and simply being a fucking idiot.
