Authorities in Britain say a teenager has confessed to trying to rob two stores with a machete while high on the drug known as "Meow Meow."
Connor Scott admitted to the committing the crimes, which took place last December, after using the drug mephedrone. His attempt to rob a clothing exchange with the blade failed, so Scott tried a co-op, but the cashier was unable to open the register. The 19-year-old fled to his house, retrieving an air pistol that he proceeded to wave at police officers prior to surrendering.
During that surrender, Scott reportedly begged officers to "get [him] off the streets." Scott, who told police that the robberies were motivated by his debt to a drug dealer, was sentenced to four years in an institution for young offenders.
