An armed robbery has been reported at a jewelry store in New York City's diamond district section, authorities say.
According to NBC New York, police responded to a distress call at the midtown shop, which is located near the route for the Veteran's Day parade. NBC New York adds that people were seen being escorted from the building by police, and both the NYPD's emergency service unit and SWAT teams arrived to provide support.
As many as two gunmen are reportedly still inside of the building.
