The cast of Kick-Ass 2 just got much bigger (literally) because it’s now confirmed that the female bodybuilder, Olga Kurkulina, will play Mother Russia in the highly-anticipated sequel. This news became official on the Iron World website, which was then translated by Bleeding Cool. Take a look at what Kurkulina said about the role below:
In the comics, Mother Russia is the mountainous bodyguard of the Red Mist, who will be played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse again. She's absolutely gargantuan and terrifying, so the casting of Kurkulina is picture perfect.
Kick-Ass 2 will hit theaters on June 28, 2013.
