A few weeks after it was revealed that Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders had an affair on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman, The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that Universal Pictures has dropped Stewart from its plans for a sequel to the movie. Instead, the studio will focus its efforts on making the sequel revolve around Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman character.
It’s not confirmed why Stewart has been dropped from the project, but there is a concern around Hollywood that her image has been damaged after the affair with Sanders. It's hard to sell a character as pure as Snow White to the public while the sordid sex life of the actress playing her is front page news. As of right now it’s not certain whether or not Sanders will return for the sequel either.
