After director Jeff Wadlow hinted on his Twitter that Jim Carrey would be joining the cast of Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, Deadline is now reporting that the actor is confirmed for a role in the movie. In it, he will play the Colonel, a man who helps assemble and inspire a group of heroes to fight against evil.
Along with Carrey, Kick-Ass 2 will also feature Chloe Moretz, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage. Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall will be released on June 28, 2013.
