This week, The Daily Show is being filmed in Austin, Texas, and naturally the conversation quickly turned to Ebola.
Correspondent Samantha Bee informed Jon Stewart that after “[Officials] shot at Ebola. They gave it the death penalty. They prayed for the virus,” they collectively realized that solving the issue merely involved them “just [getting] their shit together.”
But that hasn’t stopped people like New Jersey governor Chris Christie from instituting mandatory quarantines for anyone who has even been in a country with Ebola, and Stewart isn’t too excited about it.
He really asked the only question that matters: “Why does Christie have to be such a dick about everything?”
Given that the nurse they threw in a quarantine had no heat, no shower, and only a box to use as a toilet, Stewart kind of has a point.
