BFFs James Franco and Seth Rogen have stirred up quite a little political firestorm with their upcoming film The Interview, even causing North Korea to threaten the United States with military action. Hopefully the North Koreans aren’t actually serious, because the movie is definitely going to happen.
To get us in the Interview mood, Franco and Rogen (in character) interviewed Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, and Jason Derulo in the run-up to the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on August 24. They discussed a number of important topics, ranging from how to pronounce one’s name, to what is truly “fancy,” to an uncomfortably deep discussion of the human ass.
This is the kind of Franco we’d like to see more, rather than the Instagram-creeping, necrophilia movie-making, poetry-spitting version that tends to surface in real life. Oh well.
