A group of demonstrators on Saturday turned a performance by the St. Louis Symphony into a call for justice over the August slaying of Michael Brown.

During a break in Brahms’ “German Requiem," about 50 people throughout the audience stood up and began singing in a flash mob-like protest, St. Louis TV news station KTVI reported.

"Which side are you on, friend? Justice for Mike Brown is Justice for us all," the group sang, while people in the balcony of the theater unfurled banners that read "racism lives here," "rise up and join the movement" and "Mike Brown 1996-2014."

The stunned crowd's reaction can pretty much be summed up by this lady's face (at 1:13):

After about five minutes, the group stopped singing and began chanting "black lives matter." Before exiting the theater, the protestors dumped paper hearts from the balcony which read "Requiem for Michael Brown."

KTVI reported that the protesters all paid for their tickets, and that no arrests were made.
