Here are a few of the things we learned about the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel from reading the article that accompanies series newcomer Lady Gaga's new Entertainment Weekly cover.Â
- When you're Lady Gaga, if you want to be on American Horror Story, you just call creator Ryan Murphy and say, "Ryan, I wanna be on Horror Story."
- The "hotel" in Hotel was "built in 1930 by the rich and charming but deeply psychotic James March (Evan Peters) ... " and is a "labyrinthine structure built to hide March's murderous activities," the story says.
- Gaga's Countess character owns the hotel now, and she has an insatiable taste for sex and drinking human blood, but don't call her a vampire, says Ryan Murphy. (We are still not sure what to call her then).
- There's a character named "The Addiction Demon" who has no eyes or mouth, which is scary, but not as scary as his "nasty, conical, drillbit dildo."
Gaga also tweeted out a few photos of her not-a-vampire character in action:
