Sneakers? Check. Food? Check. Musical performances? Check. On-site shape-ups or shaves? Double check. That’s right, the GilletteLabs Barbershop is officially returning to Long Beach this year to get you right when you step on the convention floor.
Without a doubt, GilletteLabs became one of the most buzzed about booths last year providing not only an elevated barbershop experience, but memorable conversations including classic barbershop talk between barbers and high-profile guests. And part of that buzz extended to Gillette’s launch of the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar, which will make its return this year as the tool-of-choice in the barber’s chair. The razor delivers an optimal shaving and exfoliating experience all in one efficient stroke, and works in tandem with the built-in exfoliating bar to deliver a cool, comfortable and effortless shave.
For its second year at ComplexCon, GilletteLabs is elevating things a step further with Reality to Idea, the design house founded by acclaimed visual artist, Joshua Vides. The SoCal production team will design the look of the GilletteLabs booth from the bottom up, incorporating Vides’ signature monochromatic style for a barbershop like you’ve never seen before. This also includes a gallery within the GilletteLabs booth to see and purchase custom mirrors and barbershop poles that have been hand-painted by Josh Vides himself, with proceeds benefiting a local charity. In addition, there will be a one-of-a-kind GilletteLabs-powered photo booth, where attendees will be able to snap and share their clean line-up or flex their GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar to social media.
