Earlier this week, we saw a clip of a growing feud between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Now that the first episode of Season 18 has aired, the physical altercation has been given a bit more context. The fight stemmed from a comment Kim made about Kourtney and Kendall Jenner’s work ethic.
During the episode, Kim touched on a situation with Kylie Jenner, who had become too ill to make an appearance in Paris. Kim said that Kris Jenner was upset about the last-minute cancellation.
Discussing the situation with Kendall, Kim expressed Kris’ frustration that some of her daughters have been more committed to the work over others. “The problem is if I were on my deathbed, I would still show up,” Kim said to Kendall. “And mom is so used to me, Kourtney—well...me and Khloé going on our death beds.”
Kendall interrupted, saying, “And me?” to which Kim said, “Well, no, you get anxiety and it's hard.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Kendall responded, “Because I will come at you, I swear to god.” She continued, “I've been sick as fuck, having major panic attacks—I work my fucking ass off whether I'm sick or not!”
When Kourtney asked Kim to repeat what she’d said to Kendall, things got sticky. “You act like I don't do shit,” Kourtney told Kim. “You have this narrative in your mind. I will literally fuck you up if you mention it again. Literally, shut the fuck up! Change the narrative in your mind! I work my fucking ass off.”
Kourtney then yelled at Kim, “If I didn't want to work my ass off, and I did want to be a stay at home mom, that's fucking fine, you literal fucking cunt.” Kourtney then threw her water bottle at Kim before lunging towards her.
Kim then tried to hit Kourtney and said, “Don't you ever come at me like that! I swear to god, I'll punch you in your face.” When they began to tussle—which included Kourtney digging her nails into Kim’s arms—Khloé tried to separate them.
But the fight continued. When Kourtney attempted to get away, Kim lunged at her and said, “Don't ever dig your nails in me like that again! How old are you?!”
When Kourtney continuously told Kim to “shut the fuck up,” Kim slapped her on the face twice. The episode concluded with a “To Be Continued.”
In the promo clip from March 24, we saw Kourtney slap Kim on the face—a moment that didn’t surface in the first episode. Hopefully, we find out who the victor was in episode two.
