Rumors swirled Friday night after Kylie Jenner was spotted rocking a beautiful ring on her Instagram Stories, but Kim Kardashian West put an end to any talk that her sister might be engaged to her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
"Definitely, they’re not engaged," Kim confirmed on Tuesday’s episode of Ellen. She also pointed out that she wasn't wearing the ring on the finger one usually would if they were engaged. "I think she bought that herself because she was showing us," she noted.
While Kardashian could confirm that the pair aren't engaged, she was less sure if they were back together. "I honestly don’t know, but I think that they are just really close friends and co-parenting amazingly," she said. "I don’t know the status if they’re together or not. I don’t think they are." The pair are the parents of Stormi Webster, and rumors of their reignited relationship were fueled by the two hanging out over Thanksgiving.
"They all stuck together at one table before Khloé went over to join her friends for a game," a source said in November, when the pair were spotted at Kris Jenner's home on Thanksgiving and then the Agua Caliente Casino on Black Friday. "Kylie and Travis then got up together and got drinks. They were strolling slowly, watching some of the table games, and were followed by Kylie's security."
Kardashian also revealed that she had to photoshop her daughter North into the holiday card they shot. "It’s the most anxiety to get four kids together smiling in a room. North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot," she told Ellen. "She just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever."
"I said, ‘Fine you’re not gonna be in the card. That’s the decision, you’re not gonna be in the card. I’m just going to take the family card without you,'" she continued. "And she was fine with that. The next day she woke up and was like ‘Mommy, I really want to do a card.'"
Thankfully, the photographer was still around to take pictures. "[North] said, ‘I just want a photoshoot with just you.’ So I said ‘Perfect,’ I called the photographer, had her come over. I said, ‘I have no makeup on now, I look totally different. Let’s just pretend—shoot us, but cut me out and you’ll photoshop her in.’ And it looks like a beautiful card.”
