But first, a new trailer. Up top, catch the fresh trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which arrives amid the continued box office and critical success of Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson.
Co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo gave fans plenty to speculate about in a recent interview with Business Insider. Asked if there was any intimidation involved with crafting a movie with such massive fan expectations, Anthony suggested any nerves have been worked out in their years together since Winter Soldier.
"If we're making a movie that excites us, that's the best we can do," Anthony said in December. "We can't predict if people are going to like it, we just know whether we like it. That's how we've made every one of our Marvel movies and it's how we're making this one."
Captain Marvel, meanwhile, is currently standing tall in the No. 1 position at the U.S. box office with a present domestic haul (as of March 12) of just under $180 million.
Endgame, which sees the team coming together to fix some Thanos problems, arrives April 26. Previous MCU stars including Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and the aforementioned Larson are (as expected) among the fittingly stacked cast.
The surefire blockbuster juggernaut is a direct sequel to last year's Infinity War, which was itself a critical and commercial success in a long line of critical and commercial successes for the MCU.
