Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which follows the titular teenage witch, is coming back a lot sooner than expected. The first ten episodes of the series premiered on Oct. 26 just in time for Halloween, and there's even a holiday special out later this month on Dec. 14. But fans won't have to wait that long for the second season, as brand new episodes will arrive on Apr. 5.
The trailer for the new season reportedly appeared on Netflix in some regions before it was taken down, essentially forcing Netflix's hand in officially announcing the upcoming second season, which they're calling "Part 2." The second season will consist of ten episodes, and from the looks of the teaser, it'll bring even more drama to Sabrina's ongoing adventures.
Included in the short teaser is a number of shots of the adorable Salem, magic, mystery, and what looks like arson. In other words, it's going to be just as dramatic as the first season. The series was first announced last year, at which point Netflix and Warner Bros. Television confirmed the Kiernan Shipka-starring series had received a two-season order. They neglected to let everyone know the second season would be arriving this quickly, though.
Coming just under six months after the first season, it's certainly a pleasant surprise for fans of the show.
