Michelle Obama Announces Book Tour, Is Excited to Share Her 'Fuller Story With All of You'

On Wednesday night, the former first lady revealed she has finished her book 'Becoming,' and will be touring it around the country before the end of 2018.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama went on Instagram Wednesday night to share some good news. In her less than two years since leaving the White House, Obama has finished her memoir.

Becoming hits shelves Nov. 13, and she’ll kick off her 10-date book tour in Chicago that same day. The tour will then take her to arenas across America during the holiday season. Obama promises her book will be a candid reflection of her life, and the small moments who helped shape who she is today.

“This fall, I’d like to share that fuller story with all of you on my book tour. It’s the story of my humdrum plainness, my tiny victories, my lasting bruises, my ordinary hopes and worries,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s the story of who I am, truly, and I’m proud of it—blemishes and all.”

Anyone eagerly awaiting tickets can register as a Ticketmaster Verified Fan through Sept. 18 and get an access code that allows purchase of presale tickets. For everyone else, public sale begins on Sept. 21. Get tickets and check out all 10 stops along the tour here.
