Harry Dreyfuss, son of Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss, is now the latest person to share a story of sexual harassment at the hands of Kevin Spacey. Harry posted a personal essay to BuzzFeed News in which he details when and where Spacey groped him when he was just 18 years old.

Per Harry's essay, the assault happened in Spacey’s apartment in London around Christmas time in 2008. Spacey was directing Richard Dreyfuss in a play called Complicit, and Harry had met Spacey a few times prior to the day of the incident through his father. Spacey had always been very nice to him, but on the day of the assault, he overstepped a major boundary and groped him, leaving his hand on Harry's crotch for some time. Harry had accompanied his dad while he went to rehearse lines with Spacey; shockingly, the assault happened while Harry’s father was in the room, but Richard did not notice what was happening.

Harry admits that although he has told the story many times as a kind of joke, he has recently realized the power of speaking out about sexual harassment. “It wasn’t until this year, when so many people have bravely come out with their stories, and the demand for a better world has gotten such broad support, that I saw my own story has value,” Dreyfuss writes. “And if telling this story will help others speak up, then it is worth it.”

Dreyfuss’s story comes just days after Anthony Rapp revealed to BuzzFeed News that Spacey made a sexual advance on him when he was just 14 years old. Since then, even more people have come out with similar stories of sexually predatory behavior from Spacey, most notably eight employees who worked with the actor on the set of House of Cards. Netflix has since fired Spacey from House of Cards and cancelled a Gore Vidal biopic that was in post-production called Gore, which Spacey produced and starred in.

Kevin Spacey’s initial response via a statement published on Twitter after the first allegation against him was published a few days ago was widely criticized for refusing to take responsibility for the trauma he caused by claiming it on drunk behavior. Many also were offended by his attempt to conflate being gay and coming on to a 14 year old boy.

Since then, representatives for Spacey have confirmed that the actor is “taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment.”

When BuzzFeed reached out for a comment on their story, Bryan Freedman, a lawyer representing Spacey, said: “Let me be clear, Mr. Spacey absolutely denies the allegations.”

In a tweet, Harry’s father Richard said he loves his son “more than I could explain with all the words in the world” and is “incredibly proud of him right now.”

Harry’s brother Ben, who works as a Senior Editor for Mother Jones, also tweeted his support of his brother’s decision to tell his story.

A BuzzFeed editor to confirm Dreyfuss' account did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment. We will update this story as soon as more information is available.
