Paris Hilton, best known for being a really rich reality star, said she voted for Donald Trump, who before becoming president-elect of these United States, was also best known for being a really rich reality star. Hilton previously said Trump could help stop terrorist attacks, after saying she feared she was an ISIS target.

Hilton went on Australia’s news show The Project Thursday to promote her latest fragrance and was asked if she voted for Trump. After laughing, Hilton made the revelation: "I've known him since [I was] a little girl, so, yes."

Last July, when Hilton said Trump could help stop terrorist attacks, she described Trump as a “good friend” of her dad’s and an "extraordinary business man." Trump has also spoken highly of Hilton. In an unearthed 2003 interview with Howard Stern, Trump said he’d known Paris since she was 12 and called her beautiful. He later said he had watched her sex tape. “Now, somebody who a lot of people don’t give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful is Paris Hilton,” Trump said. “I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’”

Now that Hilton’s revealed who she voted for, despite staying mum when TMZ asked her about it on Election Day, Twitter is dragging her. Here are some of the more tame criticisms.
