After enraging fans with a fake out during the Star Wars Celebration in London, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has finally dropped its second trailer. The new spot premiered during primetime coverage of the Rio Olympics.

The first Star Wars spinoff throws it back to a galaxy far, far away and preceding A New Hope. Starring Riz Ahmed, Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker, and Mads Mikkelsen, it follows the band of rebels who steal the plans for the Death Star that allow Luke Skywalker to fire an impossibly catastrophic shot into the Empire's massive, globular weapon.

James Earl Jones will even reprise his role as the iconic voice of Darth Vader, although it's still unclear how large of a part his character will play. Watch the new trailer above, and look out for Rogue One to drop in theaters Dec. 16.
