As if to provide some emotional balance against the soul-torturing Walking Dead finale on Sunday, two former (?) stars of another series known for its body count appeared to confirm that love has little time for games, thrones, and character death fake-outs. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, a.k.a. brief Game of Thrones lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte, are reportedly very much a thing again after letting the love show at the 2016 Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday.
Harington and Leslie were spotted on on the red carpet gazing into each other's eyes and smiling, according to the gazing and smiling experts at E! News. In fact, the oft-rumored couple even "appeared to lean in for a kiss" because that is apparently something in which couples often engage. Just look at all the love going down here:
Though Ygritte is very much dead on Game of Thrones, the fate of one Jon Snow—though seemingly just as permanent—has been teased by HBO and company in the months leading up to the series' Season 6 premiere. Harington, of course, has pretty much played along with the semi-ambiguous nature of Snow's death, aside from the occasional hints of a forthcoming ghost-esque cameo. "I'm not in the show anymore," Harington told Time Out London last month. "I'm definitely not in the new series." According to Harington, his appearances on the Thrones set were just for some simple corpse sequences.
Game of Thrones will quietly begin its sixth season Apr. 24.
