You know that depressing pep talk you give yourself every Monday morning right before going into work? Steven Martin just turned it into a song. The actor, who is currently starring in Broadway’s Bright Star, was slated to appear on the February 29 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. When it came time for him to come out, he remained in the dressing room, crippled by a mountain of reservations. Spoiler alert: He eventually makes it to the stage.

Perhaps if he had gone out before singing his feelings, the interview would have turned into a beautifully awkward disaster like Casey Affleck’s passive aggressive displayon The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Nonetheless, the song was pretty entertaining and might turn out to be the new official Monday blues anthem.

Not feeling the blues is Stacey Dash, who was perfectly content with her supremely awkward appearance at Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony. Following the failed diversity joke, she read mean tweets about that weird moment backstage and seemed completely unfazed. To be fair, how much more can you feel after you’ve sold your soul to Fox News?
