LEGO and Star Wars go together like grilled cheese on toast so to be fair we're not shocked that they’re making a LEGO Star Wars game based on The Force Awakens. We’re just surprised that it’s taken them this long to release the game seeing as the film has been out for three-months.
That being said it’s better late than never and we’re always down to play a new LEGO-themed game. The reveal trailer is a like-for-like reconstruction of the first trailer for The Force Awakens, except it carries all the funny quirks and charms that have made the LEGO video games so endearing over the years. As well as giving players the opportunity to replay the events of the film, albeit in humorous LEGO fashion, the game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridges the gap between Return of the Jedi and the current film.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS (as well as the last gen-consoles) on June 28th this year.
