Shut up and take my money.

Jurassic World and Avengers: The Age of Ultron might have been the box office darlings of this year, but there’s a good chance they’ll be dethroned by a recently revived franchise. Star Wars: The Force Awakens has already brought in a record $50 million in presale tickets, and the highly anticipated film shows no signs of slowing down.

What’s fueling advanced ticket sales is the buzz surrounding the film. As TheWrappoints out, released trailers and clips for the film have garnered 405 million views from Facebook and YouTube. That’s nearly double the numbers compared to Age of Ultron with 250 million views, and Jurassic World with 217 million views.

When The Force Awakens opens in more than 4,000 theaters on December 18, it will face competition from Sisters, which stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip. Given its record-breaking numbers so far, it might be time to hand over that box office crown now.
