Did you miss Donald Trump doing pushups and backflips during last night's CNBC-hosted Republicansparring? Well, that's because neither of those athletic feats were even attempted by Trump during the predictably tweetable debate. Jimmy Kimmel decided to have some fun with that glorious space between truth and fiction by hitting the streets of Hollywood hours before the debate for a very special Trump Edition of his infamous "Lie Witness News" segment, revealing (among other things) that most people have no difficulty whatsoever spewing their thoughts on something that hasn't even happened yet.

It's worth noting that Kimmel probably has a bone or two left to pick with Trump, given the fact that he apparently bailed last week on a Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance at the last minute. According to Trump, he was forced to cancel his surely revelatory conversation with Kimmel due to some sort of "political event," which kind of just sounds like he wasn't feeling it.

The philosophy of George Costanza is obviously quite strong within all these souls: It's not a lie if you believe it.
