Woman Slashed by Stranger Aboard Train in Brooklyn

Police in New York City say a man slashed a tourist's neck on a train in Brooklyn yesterday. 

The New York Post reports that the unidentified suspect attacked the 29-year-old victim aboard an A train just before 5:30 p.m. The NYPD told the Post that the attack happened at random, and without any communication between the two. According to police, he fled immediately.

The victim, who reportedly missed her flight, was taken to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

As for the suspect, police said he's between the ages of 25 and 30 years old, and wore a black crewneck, black sweatpants, and a baseball hat at the time of the attack.
