The first trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will debut as a special event in certain Imax theaters on Monday, June 20, Variety confirms.
The news comes a day after Latino Review reported that director Zack Snyder plans to debut five seconds of footage from the movie on his Twitter account on Thursday at noon EST. The rumor was that the teaser will also come with a link to sign up to see the full trailer at a local theater.
There's still no confirmation on the Snyder teaser, but the second part seems to be true now that we know the trailer will be shown at select theaters on Monday.
The Celebration Cinema theater in Grand Rapids, Mich. appears to be the one who revealed the trailer coming out on Monday when it posted the event listing on its website, only to take it down a little while later.
