It seems like nothing is off limits during Comedy Central's celebrity roasts. Jabs at race, religion, sexual orientation and even medical conditions are aimed at any and everyone on the dais. Things get uncomfortable. While "the line" is relative, it frequently gets crossed with very little repercussions because it's meant to be all in good fun. However, during The Roast of Justin Bieber, some Paul Walker jokes hit too close to home for the execs at Comedy Central so the network has decided to cut them out of the broadcast.

Here are a few examples of the jokes that made Walker, who died in a car crash back in 2013, the butt of the joke:

“‘Move bitch, get out of the way!’ is what Paul Walker should’ve told that tree. “Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?” - Jeff Ross

“Just this past year, Justin got arrested for drag racing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t with Paul Walker. What? He’s doing great! He’s got a movie coming out!” - SNL's Pete Davidson

Comedy Central decided to intervene and cut those crass bits from the highly anticipated telecast. A spokesperson from the network defended the decision:

“Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full reign to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show. Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”

You can catch The Roast of Justin Bieber on March 30th.
