A Department of Justice report revealed some not-so-surprising details about racism inside the Ferguson Police Department. The DOJ's findings published on Wednesday included several racist emails from city officials, leading to three people already losing their jobs. Two Ferguson police officers resigned, and a court clerk was fired for either sending or receiving racist emails. The designations haven't been made, but all three people's names have been released.

Capt. Rick Henke and Sgt. William Mudd resigned Thursday, and Court Clerk Mary Ann Twitty was fired on the same day the report was released.

Sources told the St. Louis Dispatch Henke was involved in the 2008 email saying Barack Obama would be a one-term president because black man can't keep jobs, and Mudd was associated with the 2011 email with a racist remark about a black woman's abortion.

These firings are a start, but it's going to take a lot more to resolve the problems in Ferguson and across the country.
