The hilariously inept Bobby Newport will return to Parks and Recreation. For the final season Paul Rudd will reprise his role as the Sweetums heir who challenged Leslie Knope in the season four City Council race. Parks and Rec executive producer Michael Schur says Bobby will return because Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) is looking to fill an open position and is considering the man who promised a mall on Jupiter by 2013.
"He’s the world’s nicest human being—and the funniest," Schur said of Rudd. "We made a list of all the people that we wanted to have back and he was high on the list, so we managed to snag him."
Season seven of Parks and Rec premieres Jan 13.
