The Sony Pictures hack, which has seen several films from the studio such as Fury and the Annie remake leak online, is now being rumoured to be the work of North Koreans unhappy with the presentation of their leader Kim Jong-un in the upcoming Sony comedy The Interview.

The film follows James Franco and Seth Rogen as two celebrity TV journalists who are trained by the CIA for a mission to assassinate the North Korean leader in Pyongyang, meeting him under the pretense of an interview.

Back in real life, the FBI are now aiding Sony Pictures in finding out who was responsible for the leak; North Korea has neither confirmed nor denied involvement, but according to anonymous sources, the hack was very similar to one used last year against South Korean TV stations, which was eventually attributed to North Koreans.
