Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, People revealed its annual Sexiest Man Alive winner, and it appears this was one plaudit that Chris Pratt couldn’t get, despite his best efforts.
Instead, the award went to Thor himself, Mr. Chris Hemsworth. Marvel is obviously pleased about their man candy:

— Marvel Entertainment (@Marvel) November 19, 2014Hemsworth—who will next appear in the Michael Mann-directed Blackhat—seems pretty keen on letting success get to his head. “I think you've bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” he said to People in the accompanying story. “I can just say to [wife Elsa Pataky], 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies. I'm above that. I've made it now.’”
Somewhere, Chris Pratt is on his 47th set of sit-ups in preparation for next year.
